A Little Information About Magic Mushroom Spores

Psilocybe is a genus of small mushrooms growing worldwide. This genus is best known for its species with hallucenogenic properties, widely known as "magic mushrooms", though the majority of mushroom species do not contain hallucinogenic compounds. Psilocin and psilocybin are the hallucinogenic compounds responsible for the psychoactive effects of many species in the genus.

Psilocybe cubensis mushrooms are known for their "blue staining" when bruised.  It is thought that the reason they turn blue is a reaction of the psilocin in the mushroom, hence the degree of bluing in a Psilocybe fruiting body correlates directly with the concentration of psilocin in the mushroom.

Magic mushrooms are also know for their spore print color to range from lilac-brown color to a dark purple/brown color.

 It is illegal to cultivate magic mushroom spores in most countries, therefore these spores are sold for microscopic use only!!!  We are not responsible for those who disregard this warning.
